So let’s see, the party of the “real America” believes undermining the right to vote is somehow a good thing. I suppose this shouldn’t be surprising given the myriad other shabby ways they have treated the principles that underpin our society, but still. (Yes, I know there isn’t an explicit right to vote in the Constitution, but the 15th and 19th amendments make fairly clear the importance of being permitted to vote unimpeded, and we can’t very well hold ourselves up as any kind of democracy if we continually set about disenfranchising people).
I suppose the rather bleak message here is that if you can’t win on merit or deception alone, cheat.
